Throughout the development of Horizon I worked on the Red Rock, Gladstone and Rocky Mountain areas of the world. My main responsibilities included:
- Creating the whitebox (blockout) world and initial road layout map, working closely with designers to create tracks and fun roads to drive
- Set dressing and foliage placement
- Road texturing
- Creation of tree assets
- Preparing design documents for outsourcers for the terrain
- Optimisation and road/terrain LODs

I also worked on the Red Rock stages for the Horizon Rally expansion pack. This involved taking existing roads in the game and re-sculpting them to add extra jumps and elevation changes; changing the tarmac textures to dirt; and re-dressing the environment with new foliage, barriers, procedural grass and race day assets to create a visual improvement over how it was before.
